French (Fr)Japanese(JP)English (United Kingdom)

As far as I can remember, I have always loved Arts and Crafts. Through regular practise and a lot of reading, I have acquired the necessary technical knowledge to produce high quality translations in these field, from Japanese and English into French.

Sewing, embroidery, knitting, weaving, dying, book binding, drawing, gardening, and green building are some of my favourite topics, but I am looking forward to discover more creative practises.

Arts and crafts books are often very technical and contain diagrams and patterns that can prove hard for most people to understand. In certain language combinations, it can be difficult to find a translator with sufficient knowledge of, for example, sewing, knitting, embroidery or crochet to produce a “ready to publish” translation. I am also able to proofread and check these texts in order to make sure that there are no mistakes or omissions in the translation itself or in the original version (which happens fairly often, especially with patterns). I can then adapt these texts for a French audience.
